Let's get started with this blog thingy! Now!

In June 2010, I was laid off from a job that I loved but didn't realize how MUCH I loved it until I was laid off.  After several days of continual sobbing, extended nap times, red puffy eyes and lunches with my BFF, I decided I'd start a blog.  Maybe I'd title it "Life Experiences of the Newly Unemployed for Beginners".....!  People blog all the time and I had a lot of time on my hands!  Easy peasy, right?!?

2 years and 3 months later I've finally sat down to do this!

No, really.  I am.

Srsly.

Granted, I don't have that same amount of time on my hands anymore. I've found another job for which I am very thankful, since I discovered I had a serious shopping addiction that didn't seem to care that I had no income for a year.

But I know I can do this!

Yes I can!

I have a great sense of humor!  Or so I've been told.

I can also write the same way I speak!  Again.....so I've been told. (Actually, THAT one I can believe!)  However, that's a quality I may end up regretting to have.  Or maybe my readers will.  Either way.

(Heh heh!  Listen to me:  I just started this and already have *readers!* Or are they subscribers?  I think that's what the template called them. Whatever.)
